This Portion of Utopia

This Portion of Utopia exists as a self-contained world built from imagination. It is not a perfected society but a private universe, a place where figures, animals, and symbols move freely, untethered from inherited narratives.

I think of Utopia as something cultivated internally, assembled from memory, fantasy, and longing. In these works, color and form construct an emotional landscape that feels both ancient and invented. The figures inhabit a space governed by its own logic tender, surreal, and sovereign.

This portion of Utopia is less about escape and more about authorship: the act of building a world where myth can be created.
